Does cancelling cell phone contract ruin credit?

    As Long as you pay their Fee, Prob about $200.00 And yes you CAN keep your number, Just tell the new company you want to port your number over, and tell your Old Company that your keeping your number, and you want to disconnect, they will guide you threw it, However it will take longer for your order to be processed if you do Number Porting.

    if you cancel your contract and pay the early termination fee it will not effect your credit. If you want to keep your number do not cancel your account yet because once the account is canceled the new company cannot port your number over to them once the number is ported over to your new company your old cell phone providers account will automatically cancel out.
